Dark Horse The life and times of a meditative horse trainer. I'm a second generation born and raised Alaskan. I've very proud of that, my roots are here. While I want to see as much of the world as I can, I want to raise my children here. I'm a dedicated student of the horse, of life and I love to learn. I try to leave no stone unturned in my life. Nothing is good if taken at just face value there is always more, to people, an animal, a thought, a dream. I'm an intensity junky, I live my life with passion as if every action were my very last, and I love the colors that this passion has brought to me. It's my hope to share this small window of myself with my readers. If you surfed in please make yourself at home and stay a while, if your one of my loved one's who are here, I love you for all you have educated me in to make my life this amazing. |

2005-07-21 9:16 AM Embrace the Chaos One must still have chaos in oneself to
be able to give birth to a dancing star." ~ Friedrich Nietzsche, 19th century German philosopher Today marks the full Moon in Capricorn, for those of you unfamiliar with what a full moon does let me give you a brief overview. It moves things; whatever you have been sitting emotionally or mentally over the past month, it will break lose with the moon. All things are lunar, we think we rise and sleep with the sun, but internally our bodies flow with the lunar cycles. It helps that 70 % of our bodies are water! Try as you might to hold onto something, you really can’t do it when the moon becomes full. Once the moon is full it tends to control our feelings as if that can make them more concrete. We may not trust our emotions now because change doesn't seem as reliable as sensible logic. Unfortunately fighting against this can make us hard and calculating, isn’t that a loveable trait? And once we learn nothing in the world is concrete the easier life will be for everyone. As far as health concerns go, your cold may leave with the moon, your wellness may start to improve with that of the full moon. Sicknesses, viruses, parasites (this does not include the parasites related to loser boyfriends though! For those of you with those, sorry you gotta do the work yourself don’t depend on the moon!) even infections move out with the moon. Meanwhile as this is happening a slow-moving opposition between Saturn in loveable Leo and Chiron in social Aquarius is activated by the Moon as it enters Leo. We may struggle with memories of not being heard while we currently overstate our needs to hide our internal pain. Every time Chiron comes up in the planets I for some reason sit up and take notice. Chiron is the “Wounded Healer” planet, which also deals with pain and chaos. Every one of us knows that you can be a rock for someone who is in need but unless your own soul has been to hell and back again you may have trouble understanding the depth of suffering. Each one of us goes to our own personal hell at least once in our lives, and to be honest if you only go there once you should count yourself very lucky. I’ve been to my personal hell so often the soles of my feet have blisters! Saturn’s involvement in the Chiron aspect can often have you trying to stubborn your way out of a situation, or perhaps believe that you are impervious to it and write off something emotionally that you really should be dealing with. Speaking as a Saturn ruled individual I am the prior Princess of Past Repression – and I am utterly tyrannical about my stubbornness. Yeah I know it’s an annoying trait but believe it or not I’ve come a long way – or at least… I have found much more harmonious things to be a Tyrant about! Yeah actually I think that is what really happened – I think I evolved my mind but am still really a red headed Tyrant about what I believe in. I also am compelled to mention or warn rather that Mercury will go retrograde tomorrow. So even with all this chaos and movement, you better finalize that chaos as the next few weeks are not good times to do so. Now don’t panic about Merc RX like you always do, the sky is NOT falling. If I hadn’t mentioned it you wouldn’t’ even notice! Even with all this there is even more! The red planet will be the closest to the earth as it has been ever in recorded history. Mars was also known as Ares in Greek but also the god of war in Roman mythology. It is the warrior, leader, destroyer, lover and path of action extreme. Depending on where Mars is in your chart this can tell you a lot about your desires in life or where you may really go to war. Personally Mars falls in the same house as what rules my competitiveness and energy level, so needless to say… I’m a die-hard competitor – which is why I don’t’ compete right now! So as you can see we are under some interesting aspects right now Until next time, may your chaos be charismatic and give bountiful birth to beautiful stars! P.S. Please accept my apologies for annoying euphemisms and all sarcastic undertones! Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
