Dark Horse
The life and times of a meditative horse trainer.

I'm a second generation born and raised Alaskan. I've very proud of that, my roots are here. While I want to see as much of the world as I can, I want to raise my children here. I'm a dedicated student of the horse, of life and I love to learn. I try to leave no stone unturned in my life. Nothing is good if taken at just face value there is always more, to people, an animal, a thought, a dream. I'm an intensity junky, I live my life with passion as if every action were my very last, and I love the colors that this passion has brought to me. It's my hope to share this small window of myself with my readers. If you surfed in please make yourself at home and stay a while, if your one of my loved one's who are here, I love you for all you have educated me in to make my life this amazing.

Ode to the Wild Girls...

Here's to all the wild girls!

Here's to all the chicks that drive big 4 x 4’s and diesel trucks,
Who haul ass in four on the floor muscle cars, and leave you in the dust,
These girls have what might be called moxy, bravery, courage and pluck.

Here's to the girls who fear no cowboy, bronc or chore,
Chicks that rope steers, jump horses over fences, chase cans and bust broncs,
You know the ones, names like Calamity Jane that makeup history and lore.

Here's to the ladies, who hang in old bars and drink booze with the boys,
No shot of tequila, vodka or jack has been found to ever back them down,
She's the beautiful wild girl that cusses like a man, the princess of the tomboys.

If you ever meet one of these brave wild fillies you had better realize,
A gal like this is one in a million, they broke the mold and are tough to find,
She is the best of them all, rare and free as can be, there is no surmise.

So once more join me in a toast of thanks, to the ladies that rule the ranks!
Ride hard, play hard, drink em'dry, and never forget to reach for the sky!
