She's like the girl in the movie when the Spitfire falls
Like the girl in the picture that he couldn't afford
She's like the girl with the smile in the hospital ward
Like the girl in the novel in the wind on the moors

Project Woman

Well, I've just been Project Woman today. I cleaned a bathroom, polished some tarnished silver jewelry, done dishes, done laundry, made a white linen undertunic (just needs handstitching on the neckline), made a pair of dupioni silk pants to go with one of the upcoming Persian coats, edged a linen hankie to be embroidered, and finished weaving a belt (a promissory, as is the hankie). I know I did more, but I can't remember what right now. I watched a fair amount of TV as well, both by myself and this evening with Cat.

Albra may be coming over tomorrow to trim the rosebushes and hang out. Possibly sushi for dinner. Mmmm, suuushi.

Ken called this evening (which was 1:30 p.m. tomorrow for him. The International Date Line continues to confound me...). Things are going well, which is good to hear.

And that's about it. Isn't that enough? ;-)
