We have a winner!

I recently entered a writing contest at the For the Girls website, and won! (Warning: Site is not work-, under18-, or parental-safe.) Serious cash prize (comes out to almost 17¢/word) and access to the site for a month (which should, at the very least, give me more story ideas—and be fun).

If you want to read the story, it’s a pay-access site, I’m afraid. However, I’ll probably shop it around later as a reprint, and if it doesn’t sell then, I’ll post it somewhere or make it available for download.
