Musings About Writing and Stories About Life

She's like the girl in the movie when the Spitfire falls
Like the girl in the picture that he couldn't afford
She's like the girl with the smile in the hospital ward
Like the girl in the novel in the wind on the moors

One word at a time

Words Written: “Pledges of Allegiance”: 591

I’m absolutely shattered. I got about 300 words done this morning and the rest tonight, although I could barely keep my eyes open. Here’s hoping I can get up at a decent hour tomorrow. The thought makes me want to weep, I’m so tired.

Work was fine, although I didn’t do anything. I won’t have a desk or computer or phone until after I get back from the workshops. Really, really neat people to work with, though.
