She's like the girl in the movie when the Spitfire falls
Like the girl in the picture that he couldn't afford
She's like the girl with the smile in the hospital ward
Like the girl in the novel in the wind on the moors

Pamie’s latest (A Glamorous Holiday Lifestyle entry) made my giggle uncontrollably. You know the scene in A-Ha's "Take On Me" video, towards the end, where the girl is back in the real world realizing that the guy is trapped in the graphic novel, and then she looks up and sees him, still in black-and-white, slamming himself between two sides of the hallway trying to break through and be in color? That’s how I feel right now. Although from the outside I’m just sitting at my desk. Inside, I’m slamming against the walls of my body trying to get out.
