Musings About Writing and Stories About Life

She's like the girl in the movie when the Spitfire falls
Like the girl in the picture that he couldn't afford
She's like the girl with the smile in the hospital ward
Like the girl in the novel in the wind on the moors

Over

At PDX, still in pain but not as bad as before. (I think. I hope.) I went to the ER again this morning to get the prescriptions refilled so I’d have enough drugs to make it home. I hate relying on drugs, but it was either that or fling myself off a bridge, and I know I made the right choice. [g]

I was so looking forward to a wonderful trip. Now I’m just so glad the awful trip is over. Sigh. Except, of course, I miss Ken already.

Just think good thoughts that I can work this out with my chiro and my doctor before Saturday so that I don’t have to cancel my party. Thanks!
