No Box Today

Not doing a box lunch today. There's not a whole heck of a lot of food in the house to do it with. I don't even have milk for breakfast. Since hub gets paid a pretty nice check today, I'll be ordering out for lunch.

Accomplishments
Aiming for 2 sessions of stretch today. (Waiting for my son to get on the bus so I can get started.)

I've been pretty achy of late. Not my usual, getting old achy either. I hope it just means that I'm still trying to adjust to doing the stretching. I know the issues with my knees are totally related to that. I messed them up pretty badly when doing jujitsu as a teen and now they pretty much hate everything--weather, work, bending too much, not bending enough.... Ahem, yea. My hips are doing better than I thought that would, as are my ankles. Hopefully the knees will become agreeable as I build up my stretch and get used to all this.

It also seems to be having an affect on my cycle--like giving me one. This is a side effect I could live without. Really, really. :P (I know, TMI.)

Dinner Yesterday
Leftover Chicken
Corn on the Cob
Broccoli & Cauliflower mix
O.J.

Breakfast
1 Egg
Toast
Juice

Lunch Today
Steamed Shrimp and Veggies
Mongolian Beef
Buttered Rice
Cheesecake (yes, our fave Chinese place has cheesecake)
Orange Soda

Even though I'm not making lunch as usual, I'll probably serve it all up in my box to keep the portion control in place. Get me around that steamed shrimp over buttered rice and I lose all sense of control! ;)

I'll have to order everything for lunch since we have nothing here at home, though I do make my own rice. When topped with the steamed shrimp and veggies, it's very similar to the Yoshinoia bowls we used to get in Cali. Yoshinoia doesn't exist out here. I also miss Baker's...A LOT. But for both, it's probably just as well. I may put a lot of butter in the rice to get it to be similar to Yoshinoia bowls, but the steamed stuff is still probably healthier. ;)
