Isn't JournalScape free? Absolutely! All Journalers and Journal Readers have completely free access to all of JournalScape's services. We have worked hard to bring a quality, free, service to journalers and will not change that. We are simply offering the ability to donate to the community. Why should I donate? One reason is to support something you enjoy and use on a regular basis. Most businesses on the web are looking out for their profit margins (which are generally slim to none) instead of their customers, but we aren't here to make money. We are here to make people happy and provide them with a product that is useful to them. If you like to support the underdog, maybe that's a good reason for you. Everyone's reasons will be different. What will the donations be used for? The donations will go to things like paying for the web hosting fees incurred for the JournalScape website. We aren't trying to get rich, JournalScape is a labor of love for us. What happens if JournalScape doesn't receive enough donations to pay for the web hosting fees? JournalScape will continue running as normal. JournalScape is very important to us as people. It is a way that we can give to the community of people around us, we won't let it disappear. Can I donate more than once? Well... der. :) If you would like to donate more than once or on a monthly basis, we would be very appreciative. What if I enjoy JournalScape, but don't really have the cash? Then we are very happy that you like JournalScape! No donations are neccessary, don't feel obligated.
