Q and A about Blogs

AM Dellamonica put up the following list of questions for bloggers in her web diary.

Here are my answers.

Q: Who do you think is reading your blog?

A: I suspect that John Poindexter is reading my blog. I know that a few people in the SF world, guys like Jed Hartman and so on, are reading it occassionally.

Q: Does your content match the needs of your reading audience?

A: I have no idea what they think their needs are. What people really need they'll never get from a blog.

Q: Do you care if your blog is popular?

A: Yes. I want everyone to watch and admire everything I do. I want to be famous and respected and told that I'm a genius and offered free food. I want the world, I want the whole world. I want to lock it up in my pocket, it's my bar of chocolate.

Q. Is there anyone you hope doesn't read your blog?

A: I hope John Poindexter goes away. He bugs me.

Q: Is your blog's purpose political? Social? Self-awareness? Life-Chronicle?

A: My blog's purpose is political. Here I sow the seeds for the coming revolution.
The revolution, by the way, is also my bar of chocolate.
