We here at Silly Thinking With Douglas Lain [formerly known as Food is Fun]are bringing in the anniversary of September 11th by concluding our 9/11 Molly Ringwald Terror Cake Contest and announcing the winners!!!

And now, here she is, ready to announce the answers and winners of the 9/11 Molly Ringwald Terror Cake Contest. Ladies and Gentlemen, Molly Ringwald!!

Hi.
I'm Ally Sheedy.
Due to advice from her lawyers Molly couldn't make it today, but she sends her love.
Today is a day that we will always remember, a day that we will never forget, a day that, if Donald Rumsfeld has his way, will be repeated over and over, again and again.
What better way to commemorate this national tragedy than with a Beatrice WTC 9/11 Molly Ringwald Trivia Contest Cake?

Here are the four trivia questions and their answers:

Q: What was Molly Ringwald's first screen role?
A: The Tempest (unless you count television screens, in which case the answer would be "The Facts of Life")

Q:What was Molly Ringwald's best friend's name in the movie "Pretty in Pink?"
A: Duckie

Q: Who sang the Beatles song "You Say it's Your Birthday" in the Ringwald/Hughes classsic "Sixteen Candles."
A: Anthony Michael Hall

Q: What was the name of the Godard film that starred Molly Ringwald?
A: King Lear.

And the winners are:

Bob Crane

Ginger Spice

Abbot and Costello

and the women who work for the Pepsi Bottling Corporation in Multnomah County!

Thank you everyone! This is Ally Sheedy saying, never forget, never give up, and keep whistling past the graveyard!
