Hello everyone and welcome to our special Sunday edition of our internet award winning feature "A Few Moments With Dead Celebrities".

Today we have a great treat for all of you... a true television innovator and science fiction legend. Please join me in welcoming MISTER GENE RODENBERRY!!!

Uhh, hi everyone.

This is Gene Rodenberry speaking from that strange planet called death.

Here's the thing everyone: "Star Trek" was no big deal. IT WAS A TV SHOW FOR CHRIST'S SAKE. Nothing more.

This obsession with everything "Trek" is just a strange hobby by people living empty lives. I'm sorry humans but that's the deal. GET OVER IT!

These other supposed "Trek" shows are all produced by hacks who used my name (which was not that great to begin with... let's face it. Did you ever see "Pretty Girls All In A Row"? It was crap. Really.) to make money for a multimedia conglomerate and line their own pockets.

Alright, I did like "The Next Generation". It was even better than my little tinker toy piece of crap.

Still, I can't believe so many of you took "Star Trek" seriously. I had William Fucking Shatner for Christ's sake. I mean that's the best we could do. Anyway you can be sure that I will have a few words for that philandering wife Majeal or what ever her name is. What kind of name is that, anyway? When she gets here I will certainly want to talk to her about "preserving my memory". Preserving my memory should not include finding a cocktail napkin with something scribbled on it in the midst of a drunken stupor and making yet another stinky pile of crap for syndication TV.

Speaking of piles: what's with that "Quantum Leap" guy and that show? Does anyone watch this stuff?

Look, I gotta go, Abe Lincoln and I are having a styrofoam rock roll today.

It's my private hell and I'm in for eternity, stuck in the episodes from the third season of "Star Trek".

NOW, GET A LIFE!

Thank you master storyteller Gene Rodenberry. Very moving.
Join us next weekend for more "A Few Moments With Dead Celebrities" and weekdays for "Off The Top Of My Head", "Celebrinet", "Wednesdays With Douglas Lain", and our new Friday feature "The Game". Remember you can play at home for great prizes. If you play "The Game" today you get a dollar off any Pizza Tribe pizza for take out or dine in.

Great prizes, great features, great fun, "Silly Thinking" is THE blog on the net!
