So I have a job interview this morning. And it's with a company I worked with while I was managing a campus bookstore and was always fairly impressed with. And the two women I'm interviewing with are smiling, nodding and laughing with me. I even get a few, "good answer!" comments about what I'm saying. So it sounds like it's a good shot for me. (And they even told me about the job duties, the next few steps on the promotion ladder and when I could expect the call for next interviews and job start type things.)

And even though I still have a horrendous cough, I'm feeling pretty good today. My back isn't really hurting, I'm not too tired (yeah, it's all kinda relative), the sun is shining and all seems well with the world.

Which can't happen. Nope. Can't stay that way.

As I pull into the driveway, making sure I have enough room to get out of the car without getting my girl shoes all went and what not in the snow, I hit the side of my house and take of my passenger side mirror.

Sheesh.

Yet...I'm still in a damn good mood.
