A Bit of Randomness

Most people go through life dreading they'll have a traumatic experience. Freaks were born with their trauma. They've already passed their test in life. They're aristocrats. --Diane Arbus

Lighting

For some reason, turning on most every light in my house doesn't seem to create enough light to me on most days. I open the curtains in the morning to bring in as much of the outside light as possible but it still isn't enough.

I've realized for years that I have trouble with transition light - dawn and dusk and other lighting situations that mimic that hazy, dim atmosphere. Pretty much, I've just dealt with it and not really known what to do about it. But with as much as I'm home anymore, I'm not willing to do so anymore.

So now I'm trying to figure out if switching to full spectrum lighting in the fixtures we already have will do it. Or if I need to find someplace to put another lamp or two. Or maybe there's another option I haven't thought of yet. Not really sure.

I lead such the exciting life, eh?
