My youngest son (he turned 6 in June) started school this past Monday. He looked so friggin' small on the bus.

On Wednesday, he had to get two immunization injections to complete his school requirement. He screamed and kicked so hard, it took 3 of us to hold him down. Later that evening, he felt well enough to headbutt his 7-year-old brother in the mouth, knocking out an already loose tooth. Now it was his turn to scream and kick as he felt blood run down his lips.

And people wonder why I bite my fingernails. Geesh.

I've heard from my mentor regarding my chapter outlines for my novel. He is very pleased with the way it is going and so am I.

If all goes well, this book will definitely put my name on the wall of "damn-good horror authors" and that suits me just fine.

A couple of books with my stories in them are available at www.shocklines.com. Look for an anthology called "The Fear Within" by 3fPublications and "Femmes de la Brume" along with "Scary! Holiday Tales to Make You Scream," both by Double Dragon Publishing.
