Last night, I dreamed I was in a restaurant alone. (I'm never in a restaurant alone) I was sitting with a large group of people and while we were eating, it dawned on me these people were dead. I knew this because I knew the people. When I left my chair to get some bread (this was a buffet-type restaurant) I bumped into an old boyfriend of mine. I was very happy to see Tim and when we hugged, he whispered he had AIDS. In my dream, I realized there was no chance for rekindling what once was. I'm thinking I take entirely too much aspirin on a daily basis. So, I eat with dead people (or people who will soon die) and wake up feeling as though I've lost something. I usually dream of commodes. No, that's a lie. I have nightmares about commodes. Dirty, over-flowing porcelains of disgust haunt my sleep and has for many, many years. Maybe it's not the aspirin. ~E~ Be sure and look for my stories in the following anthologies: THE HOLLER – The Fear Within – 3F Publications THE FEAR – Femmes de la Brume – Double Dragon Publishing CHICKEN – Scary!
