Although I am still working on my novel, I've decided to write more short stories and submit them. I love writing shorts and don't plan on giving the good feelings up. Besides, a writer can always use the practice.

I should be receiving my contributor's copy of Scary! Holiday Tales to Make You Scream any day now. It's published by Double Dragon Publishing and I am thrilled to be in that anthology. You'll never watch a strutting chicken again without remembering my short story, "Chicken."

I saw the movie "Identity" the other night. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it. Just don't let anyone tell you the ending beforehand. I watched it for Ray Liotta but I finished it because it is a damn good movie.

My daughter and I saw the new Texas Chainsaw Massacre. There have been mixed reviews on this one but I'm here to tell you that the movie is very chilling and worth going to see. Forget what the original had or didn't have and vice versa. Just go see it with a fresh pair of eyes and enjoy it for what it's worth.

There's too many nit-picking people roaming this world and they take things entirely too seriously. Just chill and have a good time.

If you're looking for a good book to read, I highly recommend "Quietus" by Vivian Schilling. Very few books disturb and move me the way this one has. You can read more about it at www.vivianschilling.com.
