Bad Juju
Randy Chandler
Hellbound Books
$7.99
Mass Market Paperback

The townspeople of Vinewood, Georgia can feel it. They can sense it in the rustle of the leaves, the swaying of the tree branches and the smell in the air. Something just isn’t quite right. There’s an evil brew stirring in a pot, and something bad is slithering in search of a home.

And if good friends Skeeter and Joe Rob had only obeyed what their senses told them, they wouldn’t have played heroes one muggy afternoon.

When the friends meet up with Odell Porch during a good, old-fashioned rat hunt, they thought he was the evil they needed to avoid, but they were only partly right in their assumption. Odell was kin to the infamous Porch clan, well known for taking matters and revenge into their own hands. The Porch family feared no law and used their own methods of defense.

And when Odell is killed during an act of crime, it is Skeeter and Joe Rob that the Porch family practice their methods on. Yes, Grandmother Agnes knows which cast to spell and which evil to bring forth to avenge her grandson’s death. But, it’s a funny thing about spells and evilness…sometimes they don’t know when to stop. Sometimes, they’re never satisfied.

The townspeople could feel and taste Bad Juju in the air and they thought they could beat it. They thought the Porch clan was their only concern. They were wrong.
