Well, my birthday has come and gone with the realization I spend way too much time on people, message boards and situations I shouldn't. I've allowed myself to get drawn into arguments and defenses which have made me feel old.

THAT SHIT'S GOTTA STOP! NOW! HAVE I MADE MYSELF CLEAR, NICKY?

Tomorrow is my wedding anniversary. My husband called from work a few minutes ago to say "happy anniversary." He really believed it was today. I don't know whether to be pissed or just be happy he remembered it was SOME day in June.

The baseball games the boys are involved in are coming to an end and I'm glad. It'll give me more time to work on my ebay business and start writing again. Yes, I said AGAIN. I don't even remember the last time I completed a piece of fiction.

This fall, both boys will be attending public school! Yay! The homeschooling was nice and it gave us some special moments together, but I need some time to work on my life, my career.

My daughter moved out a couple of months ago and now shares a house with 2 roommates. She's making decent money and is determined to make it on her own. I'm proud of her but I do miss her around the house. That girl knows how to make me laugh, even during the darkest times.

I plan on submitting 2 stories to different anthologies within the next week or so. After that, I'm going to try and pick up the pieces of my book and see if I can get back into the characters and situations I've put them in.
