Eric Mayer
Byzantine Blog

Probably the only vaguely interesting thing about me is that with my wife, Mary Reed, I co-author the John the Eunuch mystery series set in sixth century Constantinople. But that doesn't stop me from dwelling here on the boring minutiae of the rest of my life, present and past, along with the occasional word about writing.

Poisoned Pen Press

There is no pleasure to me without communication: there is not so much as a sprightly thought comes into my mind that it does not grieve me to have produced alone, and that I have no one to tell it to.

All Adrift

Mary and I just sent off the newsletter we publish in support of our mystery books. Self advertising is rather foreign to our natures so we mostly fill the Orphan Scrivener with personal essays. It is archived at the website.

I mention in this issue putting on the site interactive game, written with the Adrift interactive fiction generator.

First there's the official Adrift.site

For background, and suggestions on games, try out the following though:

KF Adrift on the Web
KF has all sorts of news about the Adrift community.

The Adrift Network
Mystery offers helpful "Best of Adrift" suggestions, news, links and more.

Shadow Vault
davidw's site is a treasure trove of reviews and walkthrus plus a staggering amount of information on every Adrift game ever written.(Like how many locations and objects each game has, the biggest file sizes etc - great for someone lie me who loves baseball statistics.)
