Last week I felt blogged out, or maybe just too bummed to blog. While working freelance suits me better than punching a clock, it can be stressful in its own ways, some of which it would be better not to speak about in a public forum.

At any rate, I kept seeing interesting things but wasn't up to commenting. Here, though, are three "must read" blogs about writing, if by chance you haven't run across them already:

Lee Goldberg prints excerpts from a long list of rejections for his book The Man With the Iron-On Badge. It was finally brought out by indie publisher Five Star, to rave reviews.

Joe Konrath lists some of the nasty little secrets about the publishing industry that all new writers have to learn for themselves, in The Stuff They Don't Teach You.

Richard Wheeler writes on Ed Gorman's (now discontinued, hopefully not for good) blog about about the false dichotomy between Literary and popular writing.
