Probably the only vaguely interesting thing about me is that with my wife, Mary Reed, I co-author the John the Eunuch mystery series set in sixth century Constantinople. But that doesn't stop me from dwelling here on the boring minutiae of the rest of my life, present and past, along with the occasional word about writing.

Random Things Late At Night
Six random things about myself, as requested by netter. However, it is very late.
1. My favorite color is purple but I'm not always sure I should admit it.
2. When I was a teenager my diet consisted mostly of tea with sugar and lemon and hot dogs.
3. I wear my jeans until they're threadbare because it's almost impossible for me to find size 28X32. (Is that related to #2?)
4. The first real, full-length books I ever read were the Tom Swift Jr. series.
5. I hate parking. I'd have trouble parking a bicycle.
6. When I sit I tend to wrap my legs into a pretzel but it still doesn't stop my feet twichting endlessly.
