Probably the only vaguely interesting thing about me is that with my wife, Mary Reed, I co-author the John the Eunuch mystery series set in sixth century Constantinople. But that doesn't stop me from dwelling here on the boring minutiae of the rest of my life, present and past, along with the occasional word about writing.

A New Site For Writers
Becoming A Writer -- Seriously is a new site that looks interesting.
Proprieter Thomas Colvin says:
In gestation for over a year, this blog was launched the first week of January 2007. To avoid overload on vistors & subscribers, major posts will be uploaded only once or twice a week, along with whatever tidbits about tools and trade secrets for writers come to light. Emphasis will be on detailed descriptions of HOW writers can utilize available TOOLS to best advantage. Over time, the blog will also provide an overview of the various pieces comprising the BUSINESS side of writing.
Initial subjects include eBooks, software for reading and writing, and the business of writing.
Oh, and also a nod in the direction of a page for writing-related newsletters -- the long list of mystery authors' newsletters collected by Mary for our website!
