Eric Mayer Byzantine Blog Probably the only vaguely interesting thing about me is that with my wife, Mary Reed, I co-author the John the Eunuch mystery series set in sixth century Constantinople. But that doesn't stop me from dwelling here on the boring minutiae of the rest of my life, present and past, along with the occasional word about writing. |

2007-06-01 12:00 AM A New Month! As usual we have gone straight from winter to summer here in the Northeast. Spring? Gentle zephyrs? Mild sunny days? In the middle of April we had ten inches of snow and by mid-May temperatures were in the upper eighties. In between? Wind. Rain. Mud.
But am I complaining? If it wasn't for weather what would I have to write about? Well, today I could direct you to the fourteenth issue of Dave Burton's Pixel on eFanzines, a pdf zine that once again features bits and pieces of this blog, along with material from Lee Lavell, Ted White, Chris Garcia, Peter Sullivan, and Brad Foster, not to mention a raft of letters and Dave's brilliant design. And you don't have to get overheated walking to the mailbox or work up a sweat getting the envelope open because Pixel is all electronic all the time. [Man, my spell checker says I spelled "zephyrs" correctly. Can you believe it?] Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
