2008-05-25 7:36 PM Phoenix According to NASA the Phoenix Lander should right now be hurtling through the Martian atmosphere. I realize that space probes are nothing more than machines, but I always get chills when I think about them, going through their scheduled routines, in the silence of space, millions of miles away, too distant to take their orders from earth. It will be about fifteen minutes after the final outcome before we learn what happened.
