kittens and water

So I have this kitten, whose name is Wheaten (he's the color of pale parchment paper). And he has cute little kitten things he does, like pouncing on invisible dragons, and nuzzling up to me and kneading, and purring like a tiny motorbike. Of course he'll also drink out of the toilet if I forget to put the lid down, despite the fact this means his forelegs get wet nearly to his chest. And on occasion, I've discovered that my feet must look like invisible dragons, most particularly in the dark when I am sleeping.

Speaking of sleeping, I not only have a kitten, but I also have a very warm, very kitten-claw piercable water-bed. It now has four kitten-claw pinholes in it. The latest one was put into it at about 6 this morning. At least it's warm water, right?

Oh, and in case you've forgotten, kittens are gassy little creatures. It's just amazing how much raw odor can come from such a small animal.

Yep, it holds true for babies of any species: God made them cute so we don't eat them.
