Well, I got the official letter saying I scored well enough on the test to not have to take it again. Yay! I have to wait until they've finished their character report on me before they can determine whether I've been accepted to the bar or not.

Sigh.

Ah well, I've been productive. I finished two short stories, and sent them out to markets. Now keep in mind when I say short stories, I mean short--one weighed in at about 650 words, and the other was 1400 or so. My typical story sits in the 1100 to 1700 range. This is especially good for me, because it means instant gratification: I can sit down to write a story and have it done in one sitting. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't, but I *can*.

Makes me feel like the anti-Tim.

I allowed myself one splurge, given my jobless state: Pier One had cobalt blue tumblers on sale. They were $1.50 a piece. I now have shiny new glasses, which I had wanted for a while. (Hey, the rose tinted ones were wearing out, right?)
