Meet the digicat:
I named him escapist in honor of Wheaten's most recent trick of slashing screens to get outside. He only seems to do it to the back window, where he can get out on the roof, but still...
I am having incredible fun. I am creating a literature course for the online highschool I teach at. Because its an elective, I don't feel bad about making it a difficult course--I'm basically putting together a light version of a college survey course. It feels really good to be reading through all that stuff again, this time with an eye toward making it all integrate into patterns to show students the influences later authors drew on. I'm going from Chaucer to Charlotte Perkins Gilman in about 36 lessons.
Yep, I'm a geek. But it's still fun. Talk about dream jobs.
