Reading: _Sophie's World_, by Jostein Gaarder
Weather: Beautiful again. Drying out my plants.
The ferret is: Cute as ever. She stole dog food this morning. Poor Maui din't feel like eating, but she stood guard over her food just the same.

I am in a hurry, but I wanted to stop and say good morning. Heh.

This is an excerpt of a note I wrote to Franci this morning. I wanted to stick it here so that I have it for later on. It was a hurried note.

I am at a weight loss plateau of sorts. I have weighed 210 to 213 (note to strangers: I have been fat for several years and am trying to change that. My all-time high was 245. I am 5'7". A woman who tells her weight will tell anythign, they say. I guess that might be true. I have a blog -- is that not proof?) for weeks and weeks, but now I am more on the 210 end. I have been 210.5 for a coupla weeks I think. I haven't written it down every time I weigh. THe general trend is downward in spite of my many dietary indiscretions. I am eating lotsa salad and fruit. And vegetables. I am still thinking about eating nothing but fruits and vegetables for a few weeks, maybe even just one,. but Gregg tells me not to do it because it is extreme, and I am changning my meds right now and it might goof up my system evn worse than just changing meds does. SO. I read though, in "Fit For Life," "If you eat nothing but fruits and vegetables, I guarantee you will lose weight." THis guy who wrote the book lost 50 pounds in his first month of eating the way he is telling people to eat. (No, not all fruits and vegetables only, but this other way. I will let you read the book if you like. You would benefit from this diet, too, as I would if I could stick to it. I get opposition at home, and ther is my rebellious streak and habit to ce=ntend with, too. It is good for your digestion and you don't get acid stomach or constipation or diarrhea with it neither.) This way of eating is more natural to the body than the way we all eat. Is good stuff.
