The ferret is:

Yesterday I took Maggie to the hospital, and they kept her. They will keep her until they are sure she will not harm herself. I can't see her except for at visiting hours, so I am home today until I head out her way. I wrote this morning.

So far today, as of 0720, I have written 921 words, a complete scene. I tend to think in scenes rather than words, and doing a whole scene at a sitting pleases me greatly. It all came quickly to me, too, a scene I didn't know what to do with came together.

Got to take care of some things for my daughter, take her slippers to the hospital and whatever else I can think of she'd like to have, cancel her appointments, make excuses to her teachers, but I hope to write some more later.
