Well, now there' more to do with it, of course. I forgot to put in some stuff, and I want to rewrite and do some changes of various sorts. One subplot sucks and needs to come out entirely. But it's basically done and I actually think it might make a novel. I mean one that others might be willing to read.

I didn't put in much sex. Like any. Sex is always good, but I implied it. I think I'm more comfortable with that, but people may be disappointed. Who cares? It's my book. If people want to close the bedroom door, then I like that. That's what the people in the old movies did, and I like old movies. Maybe I'm a fuddy duddy.

What's next? I am writing that list of things I want to change on second draft. And there's one scene I really want to write and stick in somewhere. I may do that later today, just to feel more complete.

I'm so happy. I'm a writer again. I feel like I've found myself. Soon as I get paid, NaNoWriMo's getting a present. Anyone want to go out with me for a pint?
