There is nothing to read here. The content is over there, to your right.

I may, however, at some point, put something here. Some day. Eventually. No pressure.

kitchen encounters x4

When is a touch said to have 'lingered'?

It may have happened over a sugar bowl. I passed, he reached.

Perhaps it wasn't the touch that lingered so much as his looking at me. I was busying myself with non-dairy creamer to avoid eye contact.

I don't think he believed me.

The more I consider it (and believe me, I've been considering it. Obsessively.) the more I'm convinced I wasn't worried about what I'd see in his eyes. I was worried about what he'd read by looking into mine.

I'm waiting for the RCMP to show up.

Apparently there has been an alleged dog-napping and my daughter may be involved.

heh. Seriously.

A woman has accused J. and her friend of stealing her dog whom was missing but is back home now. The girls claim complete innocence, of course. I believe my daughter and her version of events. Besides, we have two real dogs and the one she supposedly took is nothing more than an ankle biter (for which we have no love for). This canine victim would be little more than a chew toy for my mutts.

So there you go, my fellow Canucks. Your tax dollars at work. Dog-stealing-then-returning 10 year old hoodlums must be stopped! 2 constables per unharmed pup ought to work.

(as a side note, I'm kinda looking forward to having some Mounties over. Maybe they'll have a cup of coffee and I can pass the sugar bowl some more. I do love a man in uniform.)

This has me excited.

.dar.
