a go of it

It's going to be a good day.

I'm going on hope and cheery expectations, not on fact. Something new for me, really.

There's work to be done and I'm okay with that. I was raised with "Do a job. Do it once. Do it right." A mantra for me now, I hear myself saying it to my kids at least three times a month. Homework, chores, just helping out - when they whine, they hear that. I'm sure my father would grin if he heard me. That and "You made your bed, you lie in it." Another paternal fav.

Irrelevant.

As I was saying, a good day. I'm expecting to have one. I'll try.
