There is nothing to read here. The content is over there, to your right.

I may, however, at some point, put something here. Some day. Eventually. No pressure.

the left at Albuquerque? x2

Funny strange, not funny ha ha. A day of things that make you go 'hmm...'

People you don't expect. Behaviour not true to form. Words that just... well, let's just say it was a non sequitur kinda day.

Is that a bad thing?

Out of the blue, a call from an old acquaintance. His younger sister was a friend of mine in school, but he was always nice to us 'femlings'. It was a fun conversation that had some awkward moments, like his telling me about the crush he had on me all through high school.

"Really?!"

"Oh god yeah. You have no idea the effect you had on me."

"Oh.. Really?!"

Yeah, I'm that much of a brilliant conversationalist (you were wondering about that, weren't you? Admit it, you've thought about calling me. I'll save you the sleepless nights: I chuckle, don't giggle, I have a habit of mumbling things that I'm not likely to repeat no matter how much you ask, I'll change topics mid sentence and make odd references to literature, pop culture and/or obscure family history. Talking with me on the phone is a bit like wandering around an Escher illustration - Labyrinth anyone? Bet you're itching to dial my number now). We shared some memories and caught up on recent news.

Like I said, it was an unexpected conversation.
