it's a geek thing

That this has me excited is indeed an indicator that I need to get a life. Hawking's Brief History of Time and The Universe in a Nutshell are two of my favourite nonfiction books. That he's 'changed his mind' about his black hole theory is .. gawd. Awesome.

Gotta love it gotta love it. I'm telling you, we're getting closer and closer to realizing GUFTOE. Gives me the shivers - like a cosmic game of hide-n-seek; we discover the explanation for everything then ta da! god appears and says "Well done! Now it's your turn to hide."

heh.. damn. Wish I could remember which sci-fi short story that was from. It was in the same stack of print outs that had a story that put forth the idea that the bible was not written for humans per se, but for the mitochondria within our cells.

Too much caffeine today. I'm jittery as all hell.
