There is nothing to read here. The content is over there, to your right.

I may, however, at some point, put something here. Some day. Eventually. No pressure.

just stuff

So. What's new with you?

Bastard Yahoo! and their daily picks.

I had LibraryThing bookmarked a while ago, thinking "Cool! I can use that!". Of course, I never got around to it but then today, seeing it in Daily Picks, I realized I'd better get in gear and sign up while I still have the opportunity (or before the place gets flooded with Mary Kate and Ashley Go On A Ski Trip! readers).

So I did.

And then as I was entering the info for the books, it dawned on me that I have no shame concerning the books I'll read. If I had Mary Kate and Ashley Go On A Ski Trip! in my bookcase, not only would I have read it, but I'd have catalogued it right in there with all the other shite I've fed my blackened soul with. I'll read anything.

So one bookcase and 52 books later, I'm eyesore and pissed off at the A.L. Burt Company of New York for not putting a publishing date in the copy of Les Miserables that I own. I haven't even been able to google the jeezly information! If the date is out there, I can't find it. (You know this is going to keep me up nights. For reals, no shit.)

On the upside, I have found 4 thought-to-be-lost bookmarks. Cool!

Now, only 4 more bookcases to go.

You know how cats will come running when they hear the can opener being used? My doggy will come running when he hears what he thinks might-just-possibly-could-potentially-be a Tostitos bag being opened. He has only once ever heard the sound and been right, but the drool reflex still kicks in.

Pavlov should have used Frito-Lay products for quicker results.

In imaginary boyfriend news, when I grow up I want to be Jared Leto's baby's momma. No one should be allowed to have eyes like that.

*drools*

..and it slowly dawns on the reader as to why hathaway has not updated her blog..

I have a good half-dozen news articles I'm tempted to post, but because of recent book frustration, I'm going to refrain. Let me just say, the world sucks ass. And the biggest ass-sucking government happens to be a little south of here.

In the (barren) good news column, however, I'm pleased to learn that Canada and Denmark have stepped back from the brink of war and have announced a truce.

I know some certain peoples think I'm kidding. (Please read from news outlets located outside your borders, certain peoples. There are happenings concerning other nations. Seriously*.)

So yes.. the Not-So-Much-Super-Powers-As-More-Like-Middling-To-Barely-On-The-Radar-Semi-Unremarkable-Except-For-Their-Beer-Making-Abilities-Powers of Canada and Denmark have agreed to disagree about the ownership of Hans Island. See?? This is how land disputes should be settled!

Canda: It's mine!

Denmark: No, it's mine!

Canada: Is not!

Denmark: Is too!

Canada: I called it first!

Denmark: Did not!

Canada: Did too!

Denmark: Yeah huh!

Canada: Nuh uh!

Denmark: You suck!

Canada: You bite!

Denmark: Bite?.. I am kinda hungry..

Canada: Erm.. yeah, me too.

Denmark: Wanna go grab a snack?

Canada: Yes, let's!

Ta da. The end.

more later. eventually.

* - author is referring directly to certain cowardly readers that prefer to email their neocon idiotic rants/threats/generally insipid, overtly nonsensical and obviously uneducated disagreements instead of posting them in the 'comments' section.

(I told you before, ad hom. attacks signal the end of the debate.)

PLEASE NOTE: Owner of blog hereby declares that any further such received emails will be posted publicly and intentionally dismantled/mocked/made fun of by said blog owner and any other reader that wishes to join in the fun of doing so.
