There is nothing to read here. The content is over there, to your right.

I may, however, at some point, put something here. Some day. Eventually. No pressure.

ugh

Real Life Moment: Went to parent-teacher interviews tonight for my daughter. Her marks are pretty decent (she's an under-achieving honour student) so aside from the usual "should study a bit more for exams" speech, there were no surprises. She is, however, doing much better in the attitude department this year. Where last year she was chatty and really quite dismissive of her teacher's discipline, this year she's become the model standard of "a pleasure to have in the classroom". Go figure. Maybe this is the upside to all of the hormonal changes being on the brink of teenagerdom has brought.

I miss the sun.

It's been a few days of cloudy, dull days. I don't mind the snow and winter weather but I'm finding that with having to rely on electric light all day, I'm fighting tiredness and just general lethargy. I'm spending my time reading and doodling; there is no desire to create, to start/finish, to stay in routine or to do much of anything besides the basics required for minimal survival.

I'm just not interested.
