There is nothing to read here. The content is over there, to your right.

I may, however, at some point, put something here. Some day. Eventually. No pressure.

speaking of bastards..

You want to expand your business.

You find a building for sale.

After some discussion with the owner, you get what you consider a decent price, but only on the conditions of:
a) no lawyers involved
b) you put half the price down, in cash
c) you pay the remainder by the end of the first month of possession.

Now, you agree to all this. You sign papers.

You don't have the money available, but you get your brother to remortgage his house and your mother to remortgage her (already paid off) home and you're all set.

2 weeks before Christmas (3 weeks before the cash is due for the down payment), you decide you and your wife should fuck off to Cancun for a week. A sweet little $3000.00 trip.

In the mean time, your mother and your brother are working, running around doing all the leg-and-paperwork required for the said remortgaging and trying their damndest to figure out how to afford even the shoe-string budgeted Christmas/2 birthdays/New Years coming up.

And oh. Neither your brother no your mother will have any say in the business. Not even as silent partners, investors or even just as more experienced business owners who may have an idea or two about how real life works.

Everyone, meet my brother-in-law.

soundtrack: Me cussing and banging my head against a wall. You don't need me to upload that as an mp3.
