There is nothing to read here. The content is over there, to your right.

I may, however, at some point, put something here. Some day. Eventually. No pressure.

as I was saying

So ok, I didn't come back to yesterday's entry. Sue me.

Trying to get back into routine, MY routine. It hasn't been easy. Until M. lets me take down the Christmas tree (the 24th is the deal - I promised him it could stay up until after his birthday), everything is going to feel off kilter. My livingroom is still shifted three or so feet that way and it's irritating me. I've taken down all the other Christmas decorations, and that helps, but that damn balsam fir sitting in the corner is mocking me. I've even stopped spending time in the livingroom - I go in there to dust and sweep but that's it. I've instead taken up residence in the den where it's 10 degrees cooler but there's no arbour-torture happening.

Yes, I've developed some mild form of OCD. Again, sue me.

I made a terrible, terrible mistake.

Late last night, I decided to put polish on my nails. Why I do this when I know better boggles me. It was dark in the room, I only had a little reading lamp on, it was a new bottle of polish - a shade I'd never used before.

It looked good at the time.

This morning however, when I reached to grab my coffee mug, it looked like I had painted my nails with fekkin' White-Out! ack.

Ask me if I have nail polish remover in my house. Go on. Ask.

oy.

Federal election tomorrow.

"The West is in!"

pffft.

Not going to get into the Liberal v. Conservative bullshit debate right now. I just want to go on record as saying that yes, I live in the west but no, that does not mean I embrace rich white middle-aged men Judeo-Christian conservatism.

Not that that will be evident when the polls come in.

Small "L" people.. I'm small "L".

I cleaned the bathrooms but not the bathtubs.

I did the laundry but not the ironing.

I shovelled the walks but not the deck.

I blogged but said nothing.

"Half-way hathaway" has returned.

heh.

soundtrack: James Blunt - "You're Beautiful". 3.25 MB.

..this is the song that's been on repeat on my iPod.
