A couple of things I forgot to mention:

  • I woke up this morning with one side of my jaw really really sore. I must be grinding again, but it's really uneven as the pain was all on the left side. I just had a molar on that side capped in December, and I'm wondering if maybe it's the tiniest bit uneven? Obviously there's also some deep stress causing this grinding pain (I haven't been sleeping well lately), but the fact that it's so physically one-sided makes me worry.

  • Zanzi has discovered the hall mirror. I find him standing on his hind legs, front paws on the bottom of the mirror (one of those full-length things you glue/ tape to the back of a door), staring soulfully into it. He'll watch me walk towards him down the hall through that mirror. It's so funny how fascinated he is. Sometimes he'll stop in the middle of batting his foam tennis ball around and stand up to look in the mirror for a little while. Hee!

  • One of the best things about my birthday was finishing Tim's latest novel, Blood Engines. It's a Marla book, and I'm a complete fan girl when it comes to that character and the stories he tells about her. Plus, it's set in San Francisco, is a hell of a good read, has lots of Tim Pratt Cool Shit (TM) and was very very hard to put down. I'm usually kind of hard on Tim's writing (so he says), but I unabashedly LOVE this book. I can't wait until it sees print, man.

  • Jenn's coming to town this weekend! She's even staying over on Saturday night! Squee! I am so excited about getting to see her, I can barely stand it. Yay! I love me some Jenn!

I think that's it for now!
