Yoga Bear

So far today, I am not too sore from the yoga I did last night. It wasn't the best yoga class I've ever participated in, but it was pretty damn good, and I think I'm going to try making this a regular Tuesday night thing.

I was sort of distressed by how many poses were difficult for me. I do stretch some on my own, but I tend to do the poses that are my favorites/ easiest for me, and of course in a yoga class they do other poses too. And hold them for a very long time. I expect to be very sore by tomorrow, actually.

What is really sore today is my jaw, because last night was a very bad night for grinding. Or a good night for grinding, but a bad night for me. I'm really stressed, mostly over whether or not I'll get the Friday before the Hugo ceremony off of work or not. I asked for it off, but sometimes it takes awhile. Add to that the fact that I'll be two vacation hours shy at that time, and the fact that the ceremony isn't until Saturday and they might think it doesn't matter whether I get Friday off or not, and then there there's the matter of getting across the country from San Francisco to Boston on Saturday in time to register, eat, shower, get dressed and make it to the ceremony, and and and....

Yeah. I shouldn't worry about it so much, but I do anyway. I want to be there with Tim when he wins or loses the award. I want to be there the night before so I can have time to make it to the ceremony without stressing. Hell, since we're probably not making WFC because of this, I want to be there in time to enjoy some of the con, goddammit. And I can't find out today because my boss is out and is very sick today. I can't even beg.

Ok, enough of that. Ptooey. The bright side. The bright side is that I get a free sushi lunch today because we're short-staffed. There you go. Yay! Free fish!

There was more I was going to say, but I can no longer remember. So I shall stop writing now.

Here I go.

Gone.
