My sister has a beautiful house on the El Cerrito/ Richmond border. She needs a roommate, and she needs one to move in on Sept. 1st.

No, she hasn't waited until the last minute. It's a long story, but the short version is that her old roommate moved at the worst possible time and only gave Holly a month -- a month Holly had already packed near full to bursting -- to find someone to move in.

Anyway, on the off-chance that someone out there who is reading this journal needs a place to stay in the Bay Area for a minimum of two months, I thought I'd repost her Craigslist ad here. If you two end up clicking, and you want to stay on, she is looking for someone permanently, but a two-month sublet would save her from having to move, oh, tomorrow.

The house, btw, is gorgeous -- tons of space, nice yard, deck, I have kitchen envy every time I visit, two rooms in the basement, one of which is used as a guest room. And Aleister, while a toddler, is fun to be around and a very good kid.

Please, if you need a place, consider helping my sister out.
