1. Lewisy: This is my maiden name. My ancestors arrived on Ellis Island from Ireland with the surname “Lucey,” which was changed to Lewis. Family lore has it that during a family feud, a brother changed his name from Lewis to Lewisy, which is actually more closely related to the original name.
2. Lemons: Though tart, lemons are a favorite fruit of mine. I became especially fond of them while living in Fallbrook, CA where we had about 10 lemon trees on our property. I used lemon in every imaginable recipe from soup to nuts!
3. LancĂ´me: My lipstick brand. Shade: Sugared Maple.
4. Laguna Beach: I lived there for 18 years and pretty much consider it my home town because I lived there longer than anyplace else.
5. Lloyd: That’s the name of my truck.
6. Lottery Ticket: I buy one each week. Hey! Someone has to win!
7. List of the Day: One of my favorite Blogs, by Cary.
8. Lord Calvert: The name of my grandparent's Collie, which I remember with fondness from my childhood.
9. Levenger: My favorite catalog – yum, yum.
10. Leann Rimes: Last CD I bought was her “Family” recordings.
