Christmas 2014

Christmas was quiet this year, but not to be confused with subdued. Gratitude and joy were probably more plentiful than ever... but quieter.

David and I have the art of *low key* tuned to perfection. We stayed close to home because that's best for me at this juncture. No snow storm this year, but the flu has taken the mountain by storm and that makes gadding about risky for me.

Our days were quiet, yet never dull. I love David & Olivia so much for sacrificing their time together so David could be with me. An element of sacrifice was equally mine because I'm absolutely nutty in love with Olivia's family.

*sigh* If fishes were wishes...

Below is an assortment of pics of our Christmas fun:

Christmas Eve morning, Linda brought breakfast - everything was yummy - especially being with her. She's off the mountain until March. I'll miss her so much.

Never too old for a Christmas stocking. David's Grandmother Molly knitted it 29 years ago.

In addition to all of this, we were gifted with delicious meals and homemade fudge and candies and a tub of popcorn and cobblers and so much more. Oh, and cookies and delivery of fresh fruit in January! Yum!

Our Christmas was abundant with goodness and generosity. Thank you , thank you!
