Crazy Schedule

Sorry I have been lax in these posts as of late. Lots of crazy stuff happened in my personal life lately that prevented me from getting any writing done, least of all this journal. And it's going to be tough to find time to write this week as well. As well as working full time as a draftsman and web developer, I also enjoy a whole lot of other interests, as you would know if you have visited my webpage (PLUG #1: www.jasonlundberg.com). My week is looking like this:

Monday: Best friend comes over and we hang out (we haven't done this in a while because of his bizarre work schedule)
Tuesday: Class (5 Steps to the Black & White Print) at N.C. State's Craft Center
Wednesday: Haircut
Thursday: Good friend I used to work with and fellow Neil Gaiman enthusiast is coming over to watch the 6-episode BBC series of Neverwhere
Friday: Go over to my other best friend's house (yes, I have two best friends) and hang out
Saturday: Rabbit-sit for my parents. Go to Jimmy Buffet party that night. Dress is Hawai'ian.
Sunday: Writer's group

Whew! This is the busiest week I can remember in a long time.

As for "Dance", Lisa and I are trying to figure out the best format to present it, either as a comic book, or as an illustrated story, or something totally different that has elements of both. I like the idea of doing the entire thing in splash pages (where there is only one panel per page, that takes up the entire page, with no panel borders), because I've only seen one time that this was done, in some issue of The Savage Dragon by Erik Larsen. So I'll see if I can persuade Lisa to go for this option.

As a final unrelated note (PLUG #2), Neil Gaiman has posted Chapter One of American Gods. Go read this and I'll dare you to not want to buy the book when you've finished.

Character profiles coming soon. I promise.

Ta for now.
