I am currently listening to the Amelie soundtrack, a wonderful grouping of music by Yann Tiersen. Lots of accordian (the official musical instrument of Paris), piano, and guitar. Not to mention some beautiful orchestral pieces. The soundtrack brings back so much imagery from the movie, evoking scenes and gestures, the subtle nuances that make a film great. The music is such an integral part of the movie, and I didn't quite realize that until now.
