Well, you may notice that this journal looks a little different now. After a year and a half using Blogger, I've decided to switch to Journalscape. Why? The format is better, I like how the entries are archived, and there's a comment board automatically generated. Plus, Blogger's servers are very problematic and get bogged down more frequently than I would like. I'll be steadily transferring the archived entries over the next week or so.

(I originally used Journalscape from June 9 through July 21 as my Clarion journal. I wanted something different from the one I was using that would stand alone. I got over three thousand hits this summer.)

Tomorrow, I'm going to send "Wicked Game" to Asimov's and "One Less" to Strange Horizons. I'm also going to mail Janet the Kenyan present I got her at the International Festival.

I started Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone two nights ago and have already read a hundred pages. I can see why it became so popular.
