I spent much of last night updating my fiction log (which keeps track of which submissions I send where), and I got four stories ready to send out today. I submitted "Book Storey" and "One Less" to Polyphony 3, "Songstress" to Electric Velocipede, and "Solipsist's Lament" to LCRW. This brings my total back up to eleven stories, and once I get "Watersnake, Firesnake" revised, it'll be an even dozen. Woo!

There's a fantastic interview with Jonathan Carroll currently at Rain Taxi, given at the 2002 World Fantasy Convention, with some bits thrown in by Ellen Datlow since she was there too. My fellow 2002 Clarionite Rudi Dornemann co-conducted an interview with Neil Gaiman in Rain Taxi's Summer 2001 issue.

And I heard last night that they're going to be making a sequel to Ocean's Eleven (the recent remake of the Rat Pack movie), possibly to be called Ocean's Twelve. But that would mean bringing another person into the gang, perhaps Julia Roberts. It was a good Vegas heist movie, if a little predictable, and I'll probably get it on DVD sometime soon.
