Crap. Crap crap crap.

I haven't gotten any writing done in five days and I feel like an absolute slacker, even if I've been ridiculously busy in the meantime. My outline is due in one week, and I still have the entire second half of the novel to go. Luckily, the second half is two chapters shorter than the first half, but still. I'm really going to have to get cranking now.

My friend Taylor Roberts has asked me to review his CD Picture the Scene for his press kit, which I'm happy to do, though not for a week or two. It should be interesting; I've never done a music review before.

Apparently the nation is on high alert now, another attack on our soil imminently expected. We've been told to find an interior room that would be safe in the event of a chemical or biological attack (which I guess would be my bathroom), seal the door with plastic and duct tape, and make an emergency preparedness kit. ABC News has tips from FEMA on emergency planning. Looks like I'm going to have to head out to Lowe's after my class tonight.

Jesus, I never thought it would come to this.
