Two days ago, I finished Zoran Zivkovic's The Book/The Writer, having read it all in a day and a half. Yesterday I started and finished Ben Rosenbaum's chapbook Other Cities (it reads really fast). Last night, I started Christopher Rowe's chapbook Bittersweet Creek and am almost done.

I slept in this morning (after staying up last night to watch Jay and Conan), checked journals, watched Mucha Lucha, and wrote an email to my lady. Started this journal entry. I need to do yoga later.

All this to avoid working on the Poe paper. Sigh.

I got to the halfway point last night, and hope to finish the last six pages today. It's actually going well so far; I just hate writing these kinds of papers. I'd much rather be working on a story. Though I guess I'm going to have to get used to it if I'm going to be in academia for a while.

The weather is cold and drizzly and grey and icky here right now. Good time to be inside as any, I guess. Wish I could be snuggling with my sweetie.

Found out from Janet that we may soon have an additional venue for selling the chapbook. More details when I know them. I counted today, and we have 42 copies left. They make great stocking stuffers, you know. :^P

My neighbor upstairs is vacuuming and the dogs are again barking outside. I'm full of french roast coffee and sausage biscuit. Time for me to put on some loud music and crank out this paper.

Here I go.
